A live call in show that feilds questions from the public on behalf of the Atheist Community of Austin, a non-profit secular foundation. Yes. Christians are absurd as they believe in a universal immaterial Spirit and Atheists are the epitome of rationality. Examples of this supeior rationality include things like being coming from non-being, and laws of logic that you can stub your toe on.

Especially insightful is the part of the show where Jeff posits this question: If a biologist creates a thinking being then does the biologist have the right to subsequently destroy it? He of course answers no, but one wonders doesn’t he reject the idea of a creator in the first place?

A better example would be: suppose a biologist is sitting at a desk when out of thin air, (through chance and circumstance of course) there appears before him an _uncreated_thinking_being. On what grounds could we cry foul if the biologist decides through the random biological processes (which are simply refined baboon’s thoughts) to end the existence of the _uncreated_thinking_being?

Only a Christian could call the former evil as the whole scenario presupposes a creator.
